These photographs explore and celebrate the formal and conceptual relationship between the femme body and the natural world. As social expectations for women to look and behave in certain ways for centuries have been recently contested and questioned, my work emphasizes the undeniable beauty of the female figure through a timeless, and nonsexual approach. The natural world is constantly changing due to time and the need to create and sustain lifeforms, and so is the femme body. The evidence of carrying these marks of historical and social influence is prevalent for both women and the earth today.
